Travel and Arrival
Directions
Hatfield is easily accessible by train, car and bus from London. For travelling directions from all major London airports we recommend printing the following two leaflets.

For those using in-car navigation systems the postcode for the Dehaviland campus is AL10 9EU.
Car parking
For visitor’s car parking permits please send an email with your name, car registration and the days for which you would like a car parking space to the following email address:
On arrival
Registration and collection of bedroom keys is at the Helpdesk in the Residential Services Office. It is open from 8.30am to 23.00pm daily. Telephone +44 (0) 1707 251183. After this time, keys will be available at the Security Gatehouse Lodge when entering the campus. The Conference Hertfordshire Visitor’s leaflet contains a campus map. If you are arriving by taxi please inform the Security Gatehouse and they will direct you to the Residential Services Office.
Where can I meet the other IFL attendees on Tuesday night?
Meet us outside the Residential Services Office at 1900 on Tuesday and we’ll walk down to the Three Horse Shoes pub on Hatfield Road which is less than a mile from the campus. If you are planning on joining us in the pub please email events@sac-home.org to give us an idea about numbers. Directions to the pub.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT
You may check in anytime after 10.00am but bedrooms may not be ready for use until after 14.00pm. Luggage may be stored in the Residential Services Office.
Please vacate your room by 10.00am. When you return your room key, you will be given an exit ticket for the car park. Please note there is a £15 + VAT fee for lost keycards.
If you are planning to attend the event after checking out, the Residential Services Offices could provide you with temporary storage for your luggage.
